A shooting incident was caught on CCTV involving a man, later identified as Mark Onoda seen approaching a shirtless bystander while holding a gun.
The shooting took place on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 passed 5:00pm in the afternoon in Brgy. 96, Tondo, Manila where the victim was seen ‘playing around’ with allegedly a toy gun along with his fellows.
Moments later, Mark Onoda came in holding a real gun while initiating what it appeared to be a brief confrontation to the victim and abruptly fired a shot to the victim’s head while turning partly away from Onoda that brought him to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center under a serious, critical condition.

The victim was known as Jomar Salvador, 25 years of age. Appalled by the unexpected incident, 2 of Jomar’s friends attempted to rush him to the rescue but were allegedly threatened by the gunman.

According to Jomar’s relatives, his father owed Php 3,500 debt to Onoda which may have triggered the crime. Other stories suggest, however, that Onoda has woken up at the wrong side of the bed when Jomar went on with his usual taunting and alleged arrogance towards Onoda’s staff at his Water Refilling business and may have angered the suspect.

A concerned netizen posted a screenshot from a comment by Rockwin Flores in attest to the incident.

Police authorities are now in a man-hunt for Onoda, currently in hiding.
