De Lima, may sakit sa liver

Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) has announced that it granted Senator Leila De Lima a 1-day medical furlough for a check-up amidst suspected liver findings.
This is in accordance to the issue from Muntinlupa RTC Branch 206 that filed an urgent motion for medical furlough submitted by De Lima in February 22, 2018.

De Lima’s request was granted by RTC Branch 206 Judge Amelia Fabros Corpuz for a 1-day checkup, no compromise.

To recall, De Lima underwent a medical examination and an ultrasound procedure conducted by Dr. Errol Rhett Santelices in the PNP General Hospital with findings suggesting a lump is perceptible in De Lima’s liver.

Dr. Santelices made the recommendation for De Lima to undergo CT Scan as soon as possible.

Judge Fabros – Corpuz ordered Police Senior Supt. Belli Tamayo, Regional Chief of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) – NCR to provide security alongside De Lima while she is out for the CT Scan to avoid any ‘possibilities’ of escape and should bring her back to detention immediately after.
An informant told that the Senator’s checkup would occur on Monday, March 12,2018 at the Philippine Heart Center at her own personal expense.
