CHR in defense of 5 Men who man-handled a Cop, gets beaten by inmates.

Manila Police Officer named PO1 Christopher Pizarro recently involved in a brawl, ended up getting rounded up and beaten by 5 men on his way home on early Thursday morning in Paco, Manila.
PO1 Pizarro was allegedly rear-ended by a motorcycle driven by one of the suspects which resulted to the altercation when he tried to confront the motorcycle driver.
Few hours after the mauling incident, all 5 men, including one by the name of Kurt Miranda, decided to surrender to the authorities in Barangay 816, Paco, Manila, who escorted them to Manila Police Station 5.

The suspects apologized for their misbehavior as they returned the gun they seized while wrestling with Pizarro. All 5 were charged with Physical Injury and Disorderly Conduct which led them to detention.

KARMA is REAL! – as netizens call it when these suspects got a taste of their own medicine while being temporarily held at the prison cell.

A source from Manila Police Station 5 confirmed that the 5 men were also mauled at and suffered injuries inflicted by their own fellow inmates.

According to ABS-CBN, the prisoners saw the news on TV and were simply displeased by their actions. With pre-meditated intentions, the prisoners gave these 5 men the beating they deserve.

PNP immediately justified the allegations of foul play and that they may have commanded these prisoners to put justice into their own hands.

Commission on Human Rights (CHR), however, reacted in defense of the 5 men and prompted to call for an urgent probe with this matter. They will file criminal charges against any PNP official involved in perpetrating the beating of these 5 men, should the result of the result of the investigation emerges.
