100,000 construction workers to train under 'Build, Build, Build' program

“Dutertenomics” pushes for more infrastructure projects under it’s ‘Build, Build, Build ‘program and soon to train approximately 100,000 construction workers nationwide to qualify in being part of the work horse in building roads, establishments, bridges, among others.
The said training shall be facilitated by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) on all 122 Training Centers.

One “ambitious bridge projects” will connect Regions 7 and 8 altogether including Negros Oriental, Cebu, Bohol, and Leyte.

The entire project is said to cost for a total of US$160 – 180 Billion which also include building of complex road networks, flood mitigation and urban water systems, the Mega Manila Subway, among others. Estimated completion date is set to the year 2022.

The Indigenous Peoples (IPs), the poor sector, and ‘renewed’ Rebel Returnees are the lucky few that are encouraged to take part in this rare and monumental plan the country is about to undertake in the 21st Century. All applications of those who wanted to avail of the Construction Seminar are accommodated from February 27-28.

The project was initiated in Butuan City during the National Integration Scholarship Program (NISP) by TESDA Director General Guiling Mamondiong.

“This is only an initial training for the Build, Build, Build alone," Mamondiong said.

Mamondiong also added that another motivation of the “Build, Build, Build” program is to generate up to 12 Million Jobs under the President Duterte’s administration.
