Loida Nicolas-Lewis top aide spotted talking with Trillanes

Former diplomat Eric Lachica, also known as top aide of Filipino-American businesswoman and philantrophist Loida Nicolas-Lewis was spotted hanging out with opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes and Atty. Fhillip D. Sawali, the chief-of-staff of detained Senator Leila de Lima.
According to the source of Politiko, Lachica was being tapped regularly by Nicolas-Lewis to organize and arrange the trips of opposition personalities.
According to the source of Politiko, the recent trips of Senator Trillanes to Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. last October 2017 to gather support for the ouster of President Rodrigo Duterte was organized and arranged by Lachica.

The top aide of Nicolas-Lewis was the executive director of the Virginia-based American Coalition for Filipino Veterans (ACFV).

Politiko source said the during the time of former President Corazon Aquino, Lachica served as an information officer at the Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles.

Lachica allegedly came in the country to organize several anti-Duterte demonstrations that would conclude on the 32nd Anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power revolt.

On Wednesday,  US intelligence agencies, including the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), listed President  Duterte is among the "regional threats" to US national security in Southeast Asia.

Loida Nicolas Lewis had campaigned for Liberal Party presidential bet Mar Roxas and running mate Leni Robredo during the May 2016 elections.
