Quirino Memorial Medical Center has received 71 dengvaxia patients since December 2017

The Dengvaxia issue still continues, ever since Sanofi Pasteur, pharmaceutical company behind Dengvaxia, admitted the harmful effect of the vaccine once administered to patients who have not experienced dengue.
From December last year, 71 children, who were vaccinated with Dengvaxia, were reportedly admitted to Quirino Memorial Medical Center (QMMC) according to the hospital Assistant Director Lino Santigo Pabillo.

The hospital confirmed that 8 out of the 71 children are positive with Dengue and were already sent home because their condition went back to normal after days in the hospital, while 22 of them are still being observed with no signs of dengue.

PAO and Volunteer Against Crime and Corruption(VACC) has submitted their request to the Depart of Health (DOH) to ask for the master list of the 800,000 children who were vaccinated for Dengvaxia and also asked President Duterte to declare “State of Emergency” to save the lives of the 800,000 victims of Dengvaxia.

“Pangulong Duterte, magdeklara na po kayo ng state of emergency para sa mga batang ito, habulin po natin para po maalagaan ang mga batang ito. (President Duterte, please declare “State of Emergency” for these children, so we can take care of them)” Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Chief
