PRESIDENT DUTERTE IN DANGER? ISIS planning to attack Duterte in India

While President Rodrigo Duterte is in India for the commemorative summit for member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), where India was chosen as the host, a report came to an Indian news site “The Print” regarding the terrorist group ISIS’s (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) plan to attack President Rodrigo Duterte while he is in India.
According to the report, this is to retaliate to Duterte for ceasing the war happened in Marawi City that killed Isnilon Hapilon, terrorist leader considered in Southeast Asia.

“Giving security agencies sleepless nights.” the news site said.

After the ASEAN Commemorative Summit, Duterte, including the nine other country leaders,  will attend the celebration of India’s Republic Day.

“An avenue where the dignitaries are expected to pass for the celebration of Republic Day, is more vulnerable than usual to sabotage” The Print said.

The space for the enclosures remains the same, while the turnout of dignitaries and people is higher. Therefore, the chances of infiltration are higher,” the news site added.

Meanwhile, President Duterte will be bringing home a total of $1.25 billion worth of investment from Indian companies, that are expected to generate thousands of jobs for Filipinos.

The agreements from top Indian companies are expected to strengthen the Philippines’ economic relationship with the South Asian country.
The investment pledges came from companies involved in pharmaceutics, information technology, energy, tourism, medical wellness and business processing management.
