Nakakadurog ng puso! OFW mother bids her son an emotional goodbye at the airport goes viral



No matter what other says, for Filipinos, family is everything.
Known to have a family-oriented culture, they would voluntarily choose to go and work in other country to provide the needs of their  family and give them a better futre. Enduring loneliness and homesickness.

Like what an OFW mother experienced when bidding goodbye to her son before flying outside the country to work, the hardest and saddest part of being an OFW. 

She posted the video on her Facebook account, which instantly became trending, gaining reactions and comments from the netizens who were moved by the heartbreaking video.

"I always see this kind of emotions in the airport. I pity the child and mother. It's too hurting. I wish Filipino parents will have a good income in the Philippines so that they'll not leave their children." 

"Naalala ko din panganay ko nun nsa airport ngumawa tlga s iyak prang gusto mo bumalik ulit pero no choice ka ksi kelangan tlga s hirap Ng buhay pero ngaun pauwi nako at excited na aq at cla din s pg uwi ko.., Sana balang araw Wla Nang pilipino na mangingibng bayan pra lahat happy ksma family..(I also remember my eldest son. He really cried hard, making me think to go back but I don't have any choice becuase I have to. I hope someday, there will be no more Filipinos who will have to work outside the country, so that everybody is happy with their family)" 

"Victim of things we cant maintain .. I WISH SOMEDAY IT WILL END THAT NO MORE FILIPINO OFW NEED TO GO OUT JUST TO WORK OUT SIDE THE COUNTRY... I had a feeling it will end soon because free education is already available and corrupt official are going down one at a time." 

"Ang sakit panuurin,nagsisikip dibdib ko. (I can't watch it. It's heartbreaking)"

The video was shared by Balitang OFW's Facebook page, with a caption "Ba-bye na muna anak, aalis muna si Mama!(So long son! Mom has to leave)", and still continuously being shared.

As of this post, the video garnered almost 700k views, 7k shares and 10k likes
