Gov't employee who wishes to have prenup shoot in Malacañang denied by Palace

Since the controversial pre-debut photo-shoot of President Rodrigo Duterte granddaughter, Isabelle Duterte, the controversy about photo-shoots in Malacañang hasn’t stopped.
This time, a government employee, who refused to reveal his identity, hoped his wish would be granted and followed the advice of the President Rodrigo Duterte’s controversial granddaughter, Isabelle Duterte, to submit a request to Malacañang if he wants to have a prenuptial photo-shoot inside the palace, wherein, Isabelle herself sent a request too.

“Hi dear, I sent a request in the office for my photo shoot in Malacañang, you can actually do the same. If you wanted to book contact them, they also have tours around the Palace for free. Or you can message me and we can do it together. I hope your Nanay will have a happy 50th” Isabelle’s tweet.

The anonymous employee chose Malacañang as the place of his prenuptial photoshoot because of it incomparable historical place. The email request was sent to the Malacañang Presidential Museum and Library in December 19.

The email stated:

“My fiance (sic) and I are looking for a historical place to shoot our prenup. Unfortunately, multiple sites has (sic) already declined our request.”

“We were about to lose hope with our search until we saw Ms. Isabelle’s pre-debut photo shoot in your premises. Our hope was further strengthened when she, through her Twitter, encouraged us that we can send a request to you to conduct a similar activity/function within your premises.”

A response from the Tours and Visitor Relations Unit was sent in December 28, denying the request.

The reply stated:

“The Presidential Museum and Library is only authorized to facilitate tours in the museum located in Kalayaan Hall.”

“Any other activity, especially those of a personal nature, in any location in the Malacañang compound is subject to the approval of the President or his duly-designated deputies."

Before the request was sent, the government official already expected the possibility that he may be rejected.

"Even if I was hopeful, alam kong (I know) I was nobody to be granted a prenup inside the premises of Macalañang." He said.
