Joma Sison pinaaaresto na!

The extradition case against Jose Maria “Joma” Sison, founder of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army and  chief political consultant of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP), is being prepared by the government after President Rodrigo Duterte declared the CPP-NPA as terrorist, which may possibly arrest Sison.
During the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Press Coprs’ Christmas luncheon, DFA Secretary Allen Peter Cayetano said that Joma is still not exempted on the charge filed against him’, after the NPA terrorists  attacked different places.

Joma is currently in Netherlands with political Asylum.

Cayetano also added that once Joma was proven to have any involvement on the violence of the NPA in the country, he will be considered as part of the terrorists trying to destroy the Duterte government, who only wants nothing but peace in the country.

“Kung walang peace, walang stability at walang development o progress, (Of there is no peace, there is no stability and development or progress)” Cayetano said.

Despite of the peace that President Rodrigo Duterte only wants to happen in Mindanao, the CPP-NPA-NDF are the one who doesn’t comply on what was agreed on, especially the declaration of ceasefire.

Cayetano added that everytime there’s a ceasefire, it seems that the NPA is flipping the ears of the government wherein, they still continue their plan to attack, request for revolutionary tax, abduction, destruction of the DOTr and DPWH’s project, and recruitments for a new member to make their group even stronger.

The direct conversation of Duterte to the officials of the CPP-NPA and being open of the Malacañang to the leftist, the government still doesn’t understand the path that NPA wants to take.

If can still be recalled, Duterte ordered the arrest of the freed members of the leftist, after he declared the said group as terrorist that was approved by the Congress on Wednesday. the congress.

Because of this, through a social media post, Sison accused Duterte for sabotaging the peace talks for the communist rebels.
